Shayne is a specialist in Māori engagement and strategy and has held executive and governance roles across multiple sectors, including CEO of Ngāti Porou Holdings and Chairperson of the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board. He currently sits on a number of commercial boards, including Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa Commercial Limited, Mana Ahuriri Holdings, and Te Awahohonu Forest Trust. He completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Massey University.

Shayne is a strong advocate for growing Māori business, upholding cultural values, and supporting whānau in Hawke’s Bay to realise their capability.
